This non-surgical treatment uses micro-injectors of a special solution to dissolve fat deposits. Phosphatidylcholine Deoxycholic Acid, or PCDC is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that helps aid the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. PCDC is all about targeted fat reduction and body shaping. Unlike Kybella, it can be used throughout the fat on your body.

How does liquid lipo work?

PCDC works to destroy the cell membrane causing lysis, or breakdown, of the fat cells of the tissue. When the medication is injected, it temporarily causes inflammation and hardening and then breaks down these tissues and eliminates them using the body's natural process.

What areas can you treat with PCDC?

Areas that are covered in what we call subcutaneous fat. These areas can include the arms, this, double chin and stomach!

This sounds great! How do I know if I am a good candidate?

We're glad you are as excited as we are!! The ideal candidate is good overall health and has realistic expectations of what they want to achieve. This is a non-surgical fat reduction method, so not all results are achievable. Candidates must not be pregnant of breastfeeding.

What should I expect during my consultation?

We are so excited you decided to take the leap and schedule a consult! During this time, your provider will work with you to determine what areas PCDC can be used on. They will take a thorough medical history to ensure you are safe to receive PCDC treatment. A treatment plan will then be constructed with you and the estimated cost with be determined. They will address any concerns and schedule future appointments.

I had my consult, what will my treatment look like?

I promise we are just as excited as you!! Your treatment plan will typically be comprised of two treatment sessions as that is what is needed to achieve most results. These sessions typically last anywhere from 30-60 minutes. Your provider will use a grid method to administer the injections to the treatment area.

You can leave right after your treatment as long as you are feeling okay! A stinging sensation may be experienced for up to 30 minutes after the procedure. You may see some bruising and swelling for up to 1 week follow treatment. Take tylenol for pain and say away from blood thinning medications!
